Powered Research, LLC is a preclinical CRO specializing in ophthalmic models, with a fully equipped vivarium, transgenic line services, and in-house in vitro services. We are AAALAC certified.
- We test gene therapies, large and small molecule drugs, cellular therapies, suspensions, and scaffolds, and devices in a number of animal models.
- We have extensive experience in many drug, cell, and vector routes of administration, including: subretinal, suprachoroidal, intravitreal, intracameral, subconjunctival/periocular, as well as intraperitoneal, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intranasal, topical, and oral.
- We offer many in vivo study endpoints: slit lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy, high-resolution fundus imaging, tonometry, pachymetry, pupillometry, ERG, optodrum optokinetic tracking, fluorescein angiography, OCT, 3D confocal laser scanning, bright field and fluorescent retinal imaging, and IVIS rodent live imaging.
- In vitro endpoints include: flat mounts, whole mounts, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, microscopy, in situ hybridization, histopathology, ELISA, QPCR, Western blot, cytokine analysis.
