Welcome to the CDMRP Vision Research Program!
The Vision Research Program (VRP) is the nation’s primary funder of research on eye injury and visual dysfunction related to military exposure. Founded by Congress in Fiscal Year 2009, the VRP has received ~$185M in cumulative appropriation and made more than 150 awards to investigators across the United States as well as in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia. The VRP offers award mechanisms that support research at different levels of maturity from early ideas to early clinical trials.
