EnTox’s BaroFuse™ pumpless fluidics platform maintains and assesses tissue and cells in response to test compounds. Assess intact retina (mouse), eyecups, organoids, and RPE cells - highly energetic tissue that are not well maintained under static conditions. The flexible platform enables new frontiers in drug discovery, toxicity assessment, and elucidation of biochemical mechanisms.
Our multi-channel flow system maintains live tissue, collects cellular outflow fractions for assay, and monitors oxygen consumption (OCR) during signaling and function response experiments. Optional system configurations enable light/dark test conditions.
Previously published papers describe using the BaroFuse™ for a wide range of biological samples including intact tissue models - pancreas, retina, eye cups, RPE, liver, hypothalamus, islets - as well as cell lines and mitochondria.
