Newcells Biotech are a fast-growing team of global scientific and industry experts based in state of the art facilities in the Helix Science Campus of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and the patient, making an impact by providing best in class in vitro models to most accurately predict in vivo outcomes, giving a high degree of confidence in the decision making process within drug discovery . Using our expertise in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), cellular physiology and organoid technology, we have built functional pre-clinical in vitro models of the retina in the form of fully developed retinal organoids and RPE cells.
