Primed Shines has a large Non-Human Primate (NHP) population (n= ~3000) with clear pedigree and has set up a unique sizable (middle age/aged, equivalent to 40~70 years in human) rhesus macaques population (n= ~1500) with spontaneous ophthalmic, metabolic, cardiovascular, NAFLD/NASH, autoimmune and kidney disease phenotypes that translate well into clinical indications, more than 7 years' historical clinical data of semiannual metabolic examination, plasma and tissues. Spontaneous and induced ocular disorders include DR, DME, AMD, Dry eye, Glaucoma, Ocular Hypertension, BRVO, Retinitis pigmentosa, Retinal detachment and Macular edema.
Primed has extensive expertise and significant experience in NHP research. We provide advanced pharmacology/efficacy, PK/toxicology services for ocular drug evaluation.
