The Sturge-Weber Foundation (SWF) welcomes individuals interested in improving the quality of life and care for individuals living with glaucoma, port wine birthmarks and neurological medical issues.
Researchers are invited to learn more about the GNAQ gene mutation discovery, research grants, Sturge-Weber Clinical Care Networks (CCN), SWF International Research (SWFIRN), and the on-line Learning Center! With over 5,000 identified cases of Sturge-Weber, there are opportunities to investigate, angiogenesis, immune suppression, blood flow, inflammation, etc.
There will be information on patient engagement, research progress and future directions for areas of emerging interest.
