Enduralock has 4 technologies: 1) Mechanical, electrical, & fluid connector for robotic ISAM (In-Space Servicing, Assembly, & Manufacturing) developed through an Orbital Prime STTR. 2) Mechanically locking, high vibration resistant fasteners, that are reversible & reusable with a standard hex socket. They survived 10x the aerospace vibration requirement. They remain locked with loss of preload (clamping force). Through an Air Force Phase II SBIR, they were scaled to 3mm to eliminate safety wire in missiles & aircraft/spacecraft, & an end effector was developed for robotic installation in space. 3) Nut plates that engage off-axis bolts and then self-align. They’re ideal for robotic in-space assembly, & they reduce aircraft maintenance times. Through an AF Phase II SBIR, the first mechanically locking nut plate is being developed for use in a high vibration environment such as hypersonics. 4) A mechanically locking, high vibration resistant fuel line/hydraulic connector was developed through an AF Phase I SBIR Phase II pending). Enduralock has 2 AF Phase II SBIRs for qualifying its products as suitable subs on the B-1, B-2, KC-135 & ground support equipment.
