Whether it’s drives for the field of intralogistics, for inside the industrial robots that are used for assembly in the automotive industry or in the robots used in the food or pharmaceutical industries, premature failure leads to oil or grease leaks in drive units that simply cannot be tolerated. Consequently, quality suffers, unplanned interruptions in production are caused, and high maintenance costs result.

Thanks to its unique design and sealing behavior, the Premium Sine Seal from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies can more than double the service life of the sealing system. Our new sealing solution seals reliably, reduces friction and power loss, and actively counteracts internal contamination in the sealing system.

The MSS 1 Simmerring is a unique, patented sealing system with proven functionality in different gearbox and pump applications and with a service lifetime up to 20,000 hours.

Comprised of a well-proven, standard Simmerring combined with an inner buffer, the MSS 1 delivers contaminant exclusion, including particles from gear wear, with low friction.

Vertical sealing applications traditionally use a primary seal and a second redundant seal. The MSS 1 replaces both seals, greatly reducing friction and required installation space.
