Bourn & Koch was founded in 1975 by Larry Bourn & Loyd Koch. With our acquistion of Barber-Colman in 1985, we entered the world of gear manufacturing machinery. Over the years, we have engineered, designed and built various models of our horizontal hobbing machine, leading up to our H-Series horizontal gear hobbers, available up to 600mm. Each machine is capable of producing high quality hobbed gears and shafts.
In 2002, Bourn & Koch acquired Fellows and their line of gear shapers. We have continued their legacy of manufacturing high precision, quality gear shapers in America. We have engineered and integrated numerous new, cutting-edge technologies into Fellows gear shapers, developing the MS series and furthering the HydrostrokeTM series of powerful hydraulic gear shapers. We also provide remanufacture, rebuild, and retrofit services for all makes and models of Fellows Gear Shapers.
Our Customer Care Department provides genuine replacement parts and field service for all Bourn & Koch gear hobbers, Fellows gear shapers and all Barber-Colman gear manufacturing machinery.
