Bourn & Koch was founded in 1975 by Larry Bourn & Loyd Koch. With our acquisition of Barber-Colman in 1985, we entered the world of gear manufacturing machinery. Our focus for nearly 50 years has been providing custom engineered solutions to our partners in manufacturing with an emphasis on gear manufacturing machinery and precision grinding machinery.
Bourn & Koch supports Barber-Colman gear hobbing machines and Fellows gear shaping machines with parts and service as OEM, having every print, drawing, specification, and design in their machine tool archives. We also provide retrofit and remanufacture services for Fellows gear shapers to breathe new life into old iron with updated controls and modern features and functions.
