EST manufactures custom-engineered broach tools in sizes from 1/2" diameter x 40" OAL to 13 3/4" diameter x 118" OAL. These include hard broaches, flat broaches, spline broaches, helical and conventional, internal/external, special profiles with multiple material and coating options. We also offer custom cutting tools including hobs, skive cutters, shaper cutters, milling and other specialty cutters. Multiple materials are available, including high-speed steel (HSS) and carbide, plus a wide variety of coating options.
Industrial Machining Tools
EST makes a wide variety of annular cutters, drilling and milling tools. Products include roughing end mills, profile milling cutters, thread milling cutters, non-standard reamers and drills, step drills, internal coolant drills, hole cutters, core drills and more. We also offer cold forming/extrusion tools including forming racks, rolling dies, spline swaging dies and more. Helical, straight and tapered involute splines with module range from 0.3 to 2.0.
Custom Engineering Solutions
EST offers tool maintenance and service including precision CNC broach and hob sharpening, inspection, diagnosis, repair & reconditioning services, tool optimization and reverse engineering. We can also quote your next turn-key broach machine and broach tool package to fit your needs. Service is performed in our modern facility located in Southeast Michigan.
Spline & Gear Measuring Tools
EST makes a variety of custom, precsion inspection tools including functional (Go/No Go) plug & ring gages for involute, serration & helical splines, variable (indicating) devices including circular tooth width (CTT) and space width (CSW) gages, measurement over balls (MOB) gages, setting master rings/plugs, taper master gages, round and splined arbors, concentricity (runout) gages, as well as other custom specialty gages and precision master gears.
